Hope Mills Middle School wins 2nd-place trophy in the Cumberland County School System Battle of the Books competition in Fayetteville on February 26, 2009. The team members include Jessica Blanks, N'Myia Collins, Megan Conroy, Mike Jenerette, Stacy Kasal, Sean MacLain, Brandon Miracle, Trinity Oribio, Erin Raven, Tyler Shevalier, Jordan Stackhouse, and Tiara Wright. The coach is Beth Culbreth.
