Cumberland County School System holds Battle of the Books competition

John Griffin Middle School wins 1st-place trophy in the Cumberland County School System Battle of the Books competition in Fayetteville on February 26, 2009. The team members include Megan Cook, Erinn Crider, Emily Greenhaw, Alicia Kincaid, Rachel Nam, Christine Putnam, Racheal Spurlin, Meaghan Thewes, and Chris Yun. The coaches are Mary Mac Shields, Melissa Niccum, and Elizabeth Elder.
