Cumberland County School System holds Battle of the Books competition

Pine Forest Middle School wins 4th-place trophy and "Most Improved" award in the Cumberland County School System Battle of the Books competition in Fayetteville on February 26, 2009. The team members include TeKara Bowe, Cassie Campagna, Leza Chapman, Alexis French, Stephanie Gorski, Harris McClean, Lee McPhatter, Paul Rodriguez, Deaira Smith, Angelia Surles, Connor Swanson, and Justin Turbeville. The coaches are Wendy Bozeman and Sarah Mowery.
