Policy & Procedures

Abuse & Neglect: We are required by law to report any suspected cases of abuse and neglect.

Behavior Management: Discipline will be positive and designed to help children learn what to do rather than what not to do. Experince shows that praise for good behavior and success is the best way to guide a child's behavior. There will be no spanking. We help children understand why rules are important in learning and how to get along with others.

Medications: We do not administer medications. This includes both prescription and non-prescription medicines. If your child is sick, it is best to keep him/her at home for the day.

Nap and Rest Time: All children participate in nap or rest time each day. This time is normally scheduled after lunch. Children are not required to sleep, but are requested to participate in a period of rest.
